Job Description: Sales Development Representative

SafeSend is seeking a motivated and resourceful Sales Development Representative to generate leads for their dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about achieving goals, enjoy interacting with prospective customers, and take pride in contributing to the success of the Sales team.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Utilize various communication channels (phone calls, emails, video) to reach out to both cold and warm leads, targeting decision makers in prospective customer firms.
Introduction and Relationship Building: Introduce SafeSend and its suite of solutions, explaining their benefits and addressing pain points. Build relationships with prospective customers by serving as a resource and demonstrating understanding of key products.
Prospect Nurturing: Cultivate and nurture prospects, advancing them from unknown status to an appointment with a Sales Executive or scheduled product demo.
Creative Outreach: Develop unique and effective outreach strategies to generate hand-raising opportunities.
Outbound Calls: Conduct outbound calls to gather information and set or confirm appointments.
Social Media Engagement: Utilize social media best practices and networking skills to connect and engage with prospective customers.
Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team on new methods to reach prospective customers and expand brand awareness.
Sales Support: Assist Sales Executives in customer and prospective customer follow-up.
Goal Achievement: Strive to meet and exceed targets for contacts made, appointments set, relevant information collected, and overall sales pipeline growth to contribute to new business acquisition.
Continuous Development: Show curiosity and motivation to deliver top-notch performance and explore potential future roles within the organization.

Qualifications:

Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication, with a knack for storytelling and engaging customers.
Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn new skills and topics related to client collaboration technology.
Strong Time Management and Organization: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Team Player: Collaborative and receptive to feedback.
Goal-Oriented and Driven: Passionate about achieving goals and making a tangible impact.
Knowledge of Public Accounting/Tax Preparation (Optional): Prior experience in the public accounting space or professional tax preparation is a plus.
Outbound Sales or Customer-Oriented Experience: 1-2 years in outbound-focused sales or customer-oriented roles/internships (support, customer service, etc.).
SDR/BDR Experience (Optional): Prior experience as an SDR/BDR is a plus but not required.
Salesforce CRM Experience (Optional): Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus but not required.
