Job Description: Sales Development Intern

Location: National Sales Center in Orlando

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Identify top-of-funnel sales leads and opportunities through research, client conversations, and direct engagement with client service delivery leaders.
Client Relationship Building: Establish relationships with clients and prospects to understand their needs and qualify their interest in KPMG’s services.
Sales Play Execution: Utilize direct phone calls, emails, social media, and collaboration with field sales resources to drive sales through specific sales plays.
Proactive Opportunity Identification: Anticipate client needs by understanding KPMG’s service offerings, conducting market research, and actively listening to clients.
Lead Qualification: Develop fact-based qualified leads by actively listening, sharing client-relevant solution content via LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
Industry Awareness: Stay informed of current events within target accounts and the industry to understand how KPMG services can add value.
Relationship Nurturing: Maintain active engagement with new and existing relationships through creative follow-up communications to foster client interest in KPMG.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce.com, KPMG’s CRM tool.

Qualifications:

Education: Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, or a related field. A minor in Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or a Professional Sales Program is also acceptable.
GPA: Current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above.
Technical Skills: Ability to navigate and utilize various social media platforms, synthesize operating data, frame client actionable insights, and work with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Experience with social media tools and techniques is preferred.
Experience: Experience in sales, sales research, digital marketing, or technology is preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking, quantitative skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, leadership, resourcefulness, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work enthusiastically in a fast-paced environment.
