Job Description

Job Title: Sales, Business & Partnerships Intern

Number of Positions: 2–3

Reporting Structure: Interns will work closely with RYSL leadership and be directly supervised by Shelley and René.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
Research & Identification: Conduct thorough research to identify new sober-friendly venues, non-alcoholic (NA) beverage brands, and potential partnership opportunities.
Outreach & Communication: Develop and maintain outreach lists, drafting initial contact messages using provided templates while also having the autonomy to add a personalized touch.
CRM Management: Provide support in tracking leads and managing the sales pipeline within the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Project Coordination: Assist with various project coordination tasks, including managing follow-ups, scheduling meetings, and compiling reports.
Proposal Development: Contribute to the creation of partnership proposals and pitch materials targeting brands, venues, and influencers.
Digital Marketing Support: Aid in designing and implementing email marketing campaigns and sales funnels aimed at engaging leads and guiding them towards conversion.
Audience Segmentation & Testing: Learn and practice segmenting target audiences and testing different messaging strategies for various groups to optimize engagement.

Compensation & Benefits:
Unpaid Internship: The internship is primarily focused on skill-building, professional development, and mentorship.
Commission Structure:
Quarterly Plans: 5% of the first quarter’s subscription value for every deal successfully closed on a quarterly payment plan.
Annual Plans: 10% of the first payment for every deal successfully closed on an annual payment plan.
Academic Credit: Opportunity to receive academic credit, subject to availability and approval from the intern’s educational institution.
Future Opportunities: Top-performing interns will be considered for potential future paid contractor roles within the company.

Candidate Profile (Who You Are):
Qualities: Highly organized, proactive, and intrinsically motivated to acquire knowledge and skills in sales and partnerships.
Interests: Possess a genuine interest in entrepreneurship, marketing, or the hospitality/non-alcoholic beverage industry.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with (or eager to learn and adapt to) various software tools, including CRM platforms, Trello, Slack, Google Workspace applications, and email marketing tools.
