The Tone:
This is a 12-week onsite internship, located in Dallas, TX. The intern will join the Stone Division Safety Team, which operates within a warehouse and fabrication environment. This role is crucial for modernizing existing safety training content and leading high-impact safety engagement initiatives. The intern will translate complex industrial procedures into engaging, visual-first communications that directly support frontline teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Multimedia Training Modernization: Transform outdated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into modern, visual-first safety content, including scripting, filming, and editing “How-To” training videos and designing high-impact infographics.
• Heat Awareness Campaign Execution: Lead the comprehensive rollout of the critical “Heat Safety” initiative during the summer months, designing effective visual cues, Quick Tip posters, prominent hydration reminders, and developing clear safety messaging.
• Certification Program Refinement: Audit existing processes and streamline the forklift and overhead crane certification programs to enhance efficiency and clarity, ensuring 100% compliance, and designing a tangible Certified Operator credential card system.
• Safety Recognition Program Design: Research industry best practices and architect the comprehensive framework for a new 2027 Safety Champion program, defining clear recognition criteria, developing appealing reward structures, branding, and a strategic launch framework.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career; Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related creative field, with incoming junior or senior preferred.
• Experience: Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Clipchamp, CapCut, or similar platforms) and graphic design platforms (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).
• Skills: Strong storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable working in a warehouse or fabrication environment and consistently wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Bonus: Bilingual in English and Spanish; prior experience in warehouse, construction, or manufacturing environments; strong ability to translate complex technical information into simple, clear, and visual communication.
