Rotational Accounting Intern | Olin

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, with topics defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business needs.
• Financial Recording: Post journal entries and provide essential support for SAP entries within various accounting activities.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze functional activity and associated financial postings to provide insights into operational performance.
• Site Support: Support critical accounting activities across manufacturing sites, including areas like maintenance, site logistics, and EH&S.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited college or university, pursuing a major in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related degree program, or pending enrollment in a Master’s program in one of these disciplines.
• Experience: Maintain an overall cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term, and cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis, accurately post journal entries, and provide support for SAP entries. Capacity to analyze functional activity and postings within a manufacturing environment, supporting areas like maintenance, site logistics, and EH&S.
• Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship, meaning individuals with temporary visas (such as E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, or TN) or those who need sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for hire.
