The TL;DR
• Role: Internship

• Mission: To support engineers in designing comprehensive solutions for humanoid joint actuators and related robotic components.
• Tech Stack: 2D design/surface modeling software, 3D design/solid modeling software

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaboration: Liaise with engineers to understand functionalities, specifications, and design requirements of humanoid joint actuators.
• Design Solutions: Produce comprehensive design solutions using 2D design/surface modeling or 3D design/solid modeling software.
• Working Designs: Produce working designs from engineering specifications for mechanical mechanisms, electrical systems, structures, and other components.
• Feature Definition: Calculate and define key features to meet required functional specifications for designs.
• Documentation & Support: Produce tools or parts lists, maintain work documentation, and record information as appropriate.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an academic degree in an engineering field applicable to robotics. Early Career.
• Experience: Maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher.
• Skills: Proficiency in 2D/3D design/modeling software; ability to calculate and define key features for designs; self-starter initiative.
• Bonus: Preference for an academic degree specifically in humanoid robotics; external applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.
