Risk Management Co-Op

This internship provides a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the field of risk management. As a Risk Management Co-Op, you will play a key role in supporting global insurance renewals by:

Communicating with internal and external business partners: You’ll be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders within UPS and external vendors to ensure smooth insurance renewal processes.
Issuing certificates of insurance: You’ll coordinate with vendors and customers to provide the necessary insurance documentation, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Verifying vehicle insurance: You’ll play a role in ensuring that all UPS vehicles have the proper insurance coverage.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:

Education: You must be a rising college junior, senior, or a recent graduate (within the last 24 months) with a degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Financial Understanding: You should demonstrate a comprehension of basic financial terminology and concepts, including operating profit/loss and net income.
Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access is essential.
Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and interactive communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
Research & Organization: You should be skilled in effective research tactics and possess strong organizational skills.
Project Management: The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently is important.
Confidentiality: Maintaining high standards of confidentiality is essential.
Professionalism: You should be able to convey a positive and professional image to both internal and external customers.

Work Schedule:

The Risk Management Co-Op will be expected to work in person from the Atlanta, GA office full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer months. During the school year, the schedule will be reduced to 15-20 hours per week.
