Risk Management Analyst I | AECOM

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at AECOM, located in Houston, TX, offered on a hybrid basis. As a Risk Management Analyst I, you will play a crucial part in supporting program and construction management for large capital programs, helping clients meet their objectives and protecting their interests. • Team: Reports to the U.S. West and Canada Program Risk Management Lead
• Mission: This person will interpret data, make recommendations, and assist in developing policies and procedures to effectively manage risk for large capital programs, acting as an extension of client staff.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Interpret safety and financial data, making recommendations based on analysis and judgment.
• Assist in the development and interpretation of risk management policies and procedures.
• Apply professional concepts within the risk management discipline, working under direct or general supervision.
• Support program and construction management initiatives for large capital programs, covering activities from planning to commissioning.
• Protect client interests by acting as an extension of their staff, providing necessary technical and administrative services.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: None years of experience are explicitly required for candidates with a BA/BS degree.
• Skills: Strong understanding of risk management concepts, data interpretation and analysis, sound judgment for recommendations, and ability to assist in policy development.
• Bonus: Qualitative risk assessment experience, 1 year of risk management experience, and the ability to travel.
