• Mission: To ensure safe, efficient station operations and provide exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional guest service by courteously greeting and thanking all customers, making eye contact.
• Transaction Management: Accurately and safely conduct all point-of-sale activities for retail and fuel sales transactions using various payment methods.
• Cash Handling: Maintain the cash drawer at or below the maximum level, secure funds in the safe, and perform cashier reconciliation at each shift end.
• Station Upkeep: Consistently clean indoor and outdoor facilities, including restrooms, islands, pumps, and car wash areas if applicable.
• Food Service: Prepare food and hot beverage products, managing ExtraMile and/or KKC foodservice inventory to maximize sales and minimize loss.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be proficient in English to understand company policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Required to possess up-to-date food handling certificates as mandated by law in specific locations.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgment, capacity to work both independently and in team settings.
• Bonus: Preferred cooking or restaurant experience.
