About the Job

The Retail Operations Intern position is a paid internship that provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food service industry. Interns will work closely with the leaders in the hospitality group at the University of Toledo, developing skills and competencies in the following areas:

• Operations
• Marketing
• Administration
• Guest services
• Problem resolution
• Planning and implementation of innovation
• Client relationship skills

Interns will also gain experience in working in different settings, including front of house, back of house, catering, marketing, and administration.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

• Enjoy building relationships

• Awareness to sustainability practices

Interest in one or more of the following is also a plus:
