Job Functions:

As a Retail Management Intern, you will actively contribute to daily operations and strategic initiatives, including:

  • Participate in hands-on training across critical areas such as store operations, fuel management, food service, and truck care.
  • Develop strong business acumen by learning strategies to drive sales, manage costs effectively, and support overall profitability.
  • Learn essential team leadership principles, staffing best practices, and employee development techniques.
  • Gain practical experience in delivering exceptional customer service and proficiently resolving customer issues.
  • Assist with merchandising initiatives, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to operational standards.
  • Understand and actively help enforce safety protocols, compliance regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate on a cross-functional project, working with fellow interns and leaders across various departments to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program, actively pursuing a degree in business, management, hospitality, or a closely related field.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical, depending on specific role requirements.
