Job Description: Retail Intern
This is a paid, hands-on work experience within Kwik Trip’s fast-paced, guest-centric Retail Management Department. The internship is primarily focused on supporting the retail team but provides broad exposure to various leadership styles and business activities.

• Shift: Variable
• Pay Range: $16.99 to $22.99 per hour. Actual pay is determined by factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:
While the primary focus is supporting the retail department, the intern will be exposed to and gain experience in:
• A variety of leadership styles.
• Marketing.
• Inventory control.
• Accounting.
• Auditing.
• Ordering.
• Human Resource responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Candidates for the Retail Intern position should possess the following:
• Currently working toward a 2 or 4-year degree.
• High aptitude for learning a variety of tasks.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Proven team player.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Work Schedule:
The internship hours may vary depending on workload, but interested students must be willing to work:
• A minimum of 20 hours per week from Monday through Sunday during school semesters.
• Potentially up to 40 hours during school breaks.
