Job Description: Retail Intern
This is a paid, hands-on internship opportunity within Kwik Trip’s fast-paced, guest-centric Retail Management Department at Kwik Trip 1149. The intern will primarily support the retail team, while also gaining exposure to a variety of leadership styles and related business activities.
Key Responsibilities & Exposure:
While the main focus will be retail support, the intern will be exposed to and learn about:
• Marketing
• Inventory control
• Accounting
• Auditing
• Ordering
• Human Resource responsibilities
Pay Range & Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $16.99 to $22.99 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on various factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role, as well as internal equity. In addition to the base pay and the aforementioned profit-sharing bonuses, Kwik Trip offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

Qualifications:
Candidates for the Retail Intern position should possess the following:
• Actively working toward the obtainment of a 2 or 4-year degree.
• High aptitude for learning a variety of tasks.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Maintains accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Proven team player.
• Possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Work Schedule:
The internship offers a variable shift. Internship hours may fluctuate with workload, but interested students must be willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week Monday through Sunday during school semesters. There is also the potential to work up to 40 hours during school breaks. Kwik Trip emphasizes that they offer flexibility with school scheduling to accommodate students.
