This job is for a Retail Cashier Floater at Jacksons, a company that values its employees and offers opportunities for growth. As a Cashier Floater, you’ll provide coverage and assistance to various store locations within a specific geographic region, filling in for employees on leave, vacation, or in vacant positions. Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, provide fast and friendly service, and offer accurate product information.
• Sales & Transactions: Ring up sales, process transactions, and offer applicable discounts/promotions, while adhering to all laws and policies regarding restricted sales.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, stock shelves and displays, and ensure proper product rotation.
• Safety & Security: Adhere to safety guidelines, report accidents or incidents, and follow company policies and procedures.
• Additional Tasks: Fuel customer cars, check engine fluids, wash customer windows (where applicable), ensure proper sanitation and food handling procedures, reconcile daily paperwork, and complete daily deposits (Book Floaters Only).
Compensation & Benefits:
• Pay: $20.70 – $22.20 per hour

Requirements:
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to different store locations within the district: Kirkland, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Issaquah, Renton, Sammamish.
• Ability to work flexible shifts to support business needs including rotating shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Legal age to sell restricted products including alcohol and tobacco.
• Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 65 pounds.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand for an extended period.
• While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
