What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Promptly approach and acknowledge customers, providing immediate assistance and efficiently managing multiple customer interactions.
• Customer Needs: Assess customer requirements by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering informed recommendations, including suggestive selling.
• Sales Promotion: Actively inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues using product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to convert returns into exchanges when feasible.
• Operational Communication: Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking needs, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely and clear manner.

The Must-Haves
• Background: At least 16 years old.
• Experience: Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
• Skills: Strong communication abilities for customer engagement; professional demeanor when handling customer interactions and addressing concerns; comfort with or willingness to learn and operate retail technology, including cash registers and mobile devices; the capacity to use basic information-gathering skills for problem-solving; and a readiness to acquire procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
