Job Description:
High Mowing School is seeking a Residential Life faculty member to actively contribute to a supportive boarding environment. Key responsibilities include:
• Creating a warm and vibrant dormitory life that fosters a strong sense of family and community among boarding students.
• Being available to students according to schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Providing transportation to students for activities and individual appointments.
• Articulating, modeling, and maintaining high standards and ensuring consistent application.
• Providing a home-like environment to teenagers and address the challenges of the teenage years.
• Actively contributing to the school community.
The position follows the academic calendar. Leadership opportunities in residential life are potentially available.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience holding boarding students in a residential life setting.
• Experienced working with adolescents.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Background or familiarity with Waldorf education preferred.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
