As a Resident Life Intern, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the daily lives and experiences of over 2,000 seasonal associates living on our bustling Associate Housing Campus. This unparalleled hands-on internship offers a dynamic blend of direct leadership, comprehensive event planning, and vibrant community engagement. You’ll also:
- Actively oversee and contribute to the daily operations of the Associate Recreation Center (ARC), ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all residents. This includes assisting with facility usage, managing equipment, and ensuring adherence to policies.
- Design, promote, and flawlessly execute a diverse range of recreational and social events. These initiatives are crucial for building community, fostering positive interactions, and significantly enhancing the overall campus life experience for our associates – from themed parties and workshops to sports tournaments and cultural celebrations.
- Supervise and facilitate organized associate bus trips to local attractions and shopping destinations, ensuring safety, smooth logistics, and an enjoyable experience for participants.
- Provide essential support for in-park Associate Life events, collaborating with various departments to create memorable experiences for our team members within the park itself.
- Contribute to the overall operations and core functions of the Associate Housing Campus, assisting with resident inquiries, policy enforcement, and fostering a positive living environment for all associates.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the internship start date.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Leadership, Hospitality Management, Student Affairs, Recreation, or a related discipline.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks of work during the peak season, typically between May 1st and August 31st.
- Availability requirements:
- Minimum of 4 days per week of full availability.
- 2 of the 4 days must include either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday, reflecting the dynamic nature of our operations.
- Capable of working a minimum average of 32 hours per week, with the flexibility to work additional hours based on business needs and event schedules.
- Strong commitment to personal and professional growth, demonstrated by attending all mandatory professional development events and training sessions.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods is essential to meet the operational demands of a vibrant recreational and housing campus.
- Successful completion of a mandatory (or random) drug test, in accordance with Company policy and applicable state or provincial laws.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check (for individuals 18 years or older), which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV records, previous employment verification, education verification, and personal references, as per Company policy and all relevant legal guidelines.
