Cleveland Research Company (CRC) is an employee-owned, independent research firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 2006, CRC has expanded to 15 research teams covering over 150 companies. Job Description:

This is a Research Intern position for the summer of 2026 (May 2026 to August 2026). As an intern, you will be integrated into one of CRC’s research teams, specializing in a specific industry sector (consumer, healthcare, industrial, technology) and its publicly traded companies.

Responsibilities Include:

• Becoming an expert on your sector and covered companies.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with industry sources.
• Building and updating financial models for each company.
• Interacting and sharing conviction with the internal sales force.
• Assisting in the production of written reports for institutional money manager clients.
• Attending industry events to gain an in-depth understanding of the sector.
• Gathering and analyzing proprietary market research.
• Compiling and analyzing macroeconomic and industry data.

In addition to team responsibilities, the internship includes:

• An independent research project.
• Weekly group financial discussions with the President of CRC.
• Visit to a client meeting and/or tradeshow shadow day with one of their senior team members.
• Mock portfolio competition.
• A comprehensive training program with mentor interactions, classroom sessions, and job shadowing.

The internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Analyst role and other aspects of CRC’s business, offering opportunities to make a real impact. Interns are evaluated for future career opportunities.

Position Requirements:

• Open to applicants graduating in May 2026, December 2026, or May 2027.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program (all majors considered, but Finance and Business majors are prominent).
• Strong work ethic and interest in equity and market research.
• Well-developed analytical skills.
• Ability to master complex tasks and multi-task with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• A full-time, on-site presence at the downtown Cleveland office is required.
