About the Job: Research Intern- Summer 2026
The Research Intern position for Summer 2026 at Cleveland Research Company offers an opportunity to have an immediate impact and grow with the firm. This internship is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the role of an Analyst and other aspects of CRC’s business.
As a Summer Intern, you will be assigned to one of CRC’s research teams, focusing on a specific industry and publicly traded companies within sectors such as consumer, healthcare, industrial, or technology. The internship program is 12 weeks long, running from May 2026 to August 2026. Interns are evaluated for potential future career opportunities with the firm.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Becoming an expert on your assigned sector and covered companies.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with industry sources.
• Building and updating financial models for each company.
• Interacting and sharing conviction with CRC’s internal sales force.
• Assisting in the production of written reports for institutional money manager clients.
• Attending industry events to gain an in-depth understanding of the sector.
• Gathering and analyzing proprietary market research.
• Compiling and analyzing macroeconomic and industry data.
The Intern Experience will also include:
• An independent research project.
• Weekly group financial discussions with the President of CRC.
• A visit to a client meeting and/or tradeshow shadow day with a senior team member.
• A mock portfolio competition.
• A comprehensive training program encompassing weekly mentor interactions, classroom-style sessions, and job shadow experiences.

Position Requirements:
• Applicants must be graduating in May 2026, December 2026, or May 2027.
• Must be currently enrolled in a graduate or an undergraduate program.
• All majors are considered, with Finance and other Business majors being the most prominent historically.
• Possess a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in learning the equity and market research industry.
• Demonstrate well-developed analytical skills.
• Ability to master complex tasks and multi-task with minimal supervision.
• Exhibit excellent communication and writing skills.
• This position requires a full-time, on-site presence at CRC’s downtown Cleveland office to ensure effective teamwork.
