The TL;DR

• Team: GTRI – Research IT Department, reporting under direct supervision.
• Mission: To contribute to specific projects and/or programs, working across diverse fields to support the department’s research goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Contribution: Contribute to ongoing projects and/or programs specific to the hiring department.
• Interdisciplinary Work: Engage with diverse fields related to your academic background or areas of interest.
• Work Environment: Perform duties in various settings, which may include laboratory environments, field sites, or office spaces.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Consistently interact with unit management, staff, faculty, and students.
• Safety Compliance: Complete necessary safety training as a prerequisite for project participation when required.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Enrollment in a course of study relevant to research projects or other specified areas of interest.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required, as the role involves direct supervision.
• Skills: Ability to contribute effectively to projects, adaptability to work in diverse settings, and strong interpersonal communication skills for interacting with various community members.
