Job Description: Research Intern
Salesforce Research is seeking outstanding research interns with a strong background in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, or General Machine Learning. Preference is given to candidates with publications in top-tier conferences or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, CHI).
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a team of research scientists and engineers on a research project, ideally resulting in a submission to a top-tier conference.
• Explore exciting research and applications outside your area of expertise.
• Focus on pure research that aligns with your PhD focus and contributes to the AI community.
• Present research findings at conferences alongside Salesforce researchers.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a PhD or MS in a relevant research area.
• Excellent understanding of deep learning techniques (CNN, RNN, LSTM, GRU, GAN, attention models, and optimization methods).
• Experience with deep learning libraries and platforms (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe, or Chainer).
• Strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Strong algorithmic problem-solving skills.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, C/C++, Lua, or a similar language.
• Internship duration: minimum 12 weeks.
