Research Associate II – Diagnostic Microbiology
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate II to join our team in Hercules, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic microbiology and a passion for developing and validating new diagnostic methods.
Responsibilities
• Develop and validate new diagnostic methods for the detection of infectious diseases
• Conduct research on the molecular epidemiology of infectious diseases
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop new products and services
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
• Present research findings at scientific conferences
Qualifications
• PhD in Microbiology or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in diagnostic microbiology
• Strong understanding of molecular biology and immunology
• Experience with developing and validating diagnostic assays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
