Research Assistant – Intern | Resolution Economics

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Resolution Economics, located on site in Charlotte, NC, for the fall 2026. Resolution Economics is a leading economic consulting firm that provides specialized economic, statistical, and financial analysis, litigation and consulting support, and expert testimony to top companies and law firms. This role is vital for supporting project teams by handling critical data management and clerical duties, ensuring the high degree of reliability required for work that can influence case law and impact large-scale settlement agreements. It offers college students an initial understanding of the consulting environment and the application of economics within the legal system.

• Charts and Graphs: Create clear visual representations of data using Excel.
• Internet Research: Conduct thorough online research to gather supporting data for projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled college student (sophomore, junior, or senior year).
• Experience: No specific work experience required; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, robust research capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
• Bonus: An interest in consulting, litigation, or employment law is a plus, with an option to learn statistical analysis in SAS.
