GIC provides integrated solutions to corporate and public sector clients in the agro and biotech sectors, combining research, analysis, policy, strategic planning, marketing, decision-making, finance, and investment.

Job Description: Research and Social Media Internship (Unpaid)

GIC Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented research and marketing intern to assist in conducting research, analyzing data, creating and deploying social media strategies, and contributing to business development and support for existing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor presentations and liaison.
Due diligence services.
Website updating.
• Assist in the design and execution of research projects.
• Collect, organize, and analyze researched data.
• Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings.
• Prepare researched materials for presentation.
• Collaborate with other associates to develop research protocols and methodologies.
• Create and deploy content on company’s social media platforms.
• Pitch marketing and social media tactics to owner.
• Work with other team members on implementing company’s social media strategy.
• Design PowerPoint presentations for the owner to present at events.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to review tasks.
• Keep track of time worked on projects and submit biweekly timesheets.

Qualifications Preferred:

• Proficiency in software systems for data collection and analytics, statistics, and social media platforms.
• Proficiency with research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge (experience) of commodity markets and agriculture.
• Majors of business, economics, finance, and writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and software. AI skills also welcome.
• General ideas of niche marketing in agribusiness, environment, food safety, and sustainability strategies.

Additional Information:

• The internship is unpaid and lasts a minimum of one semester.
• The allotted work time is 20 hours a week, with daily allocation flexible.
