SALES MANAGER | ArcelorMittal

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at ArcelorMittal, located in Montreal, Quebec. ArcelorMittal is a global leader in steel production, offering a wide range of steel products to diverse markets. This role is crucial for driving sales performance, cultivating strong client relationships, and expanding market presence for our steel offerings. You will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and identifying new growth opportunities within your assigned territory.

• Team: Reports to the Sales Director
• Mission: Drive sales and market growth for ArcelorMittal’s steel products by managing client relationships, developing strategic sales plans, and achieving revenue targets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Target Attainment: Achieve established quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Strategy Development: Determine sales objectives by region, establish revenue forecasts, and provide reports on gains/losses relative to quotas.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analyses, develop strategies to generate new business opportunities, and create customer-centric sales campaign profiles.
• Client Management: Maintain and expand business volumes with both current and prospective clients while developing and nurturing excellent business relationships to confirm market dominance.
• Profit Maximization: Negotiate specific agreements, adapt orders to client budgets, and take measures to maximize profits for ArcelorMittal products.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any other relevant field.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in sales.
• Skills: Bilingualism (French and English, with a strong command of English for clients in Ontario and the United States), demonstrated adaptability in changing contexts, excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, and a commitment to promoting health and safety practices, including ArcelorMittal’s 10 Golden Rules.
• Bonus: An MBA or a Master’s degree would be considered an asset.
