Position Purpose
This is a temporary, project-based role focused on providing assistance within the Energy Markets division. The incumbent will gain valuable exposure to cooperative operations and practices, supporting various teams through hands-on tasks and assignments that align with their field of study.

Essential Duties
The core responsibilities include:
• Designing and developing reporting tools and analytical models to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
• Gaining practical insight into Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) systems, specifically mentioning Allegro, OATI, and PCI.
• Assisting departmental staff with a variety of assigned tasks, projects, or data entry responsibilities that are relevant to their academic discipline.
• Conducting research and detailed analysis to support various initiatives.
• Actively participating in team meetings and engaging in relevant training opportunities.
• Maintaining accurate records, comprehensive documentation, and logs.
• Adhering strictly to all safety, security, and procedural guidelines.
• Performing any other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a four-year program (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field) with their Sophomore year completed, OR be a recent graduate (within the past 12 months) from such a program.
• Maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• A transcript is mandatory and must be attached at the time of application; applications without an attached transcript will not be reviewed.

Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will also have:
• Previous internship experience or other relevant work experience.
• Additional certifications or coursework pertinent to their field of study.

Physical and Environmental Demands
The role requires:
• The ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and to move around the office building.
• Occasional reaching both below and above shoulder level.
• Constant use of a keyboard, computer, and other standard office productivity machinery.
• Occasional bending and kneeling.
• The capacity for lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds.
• The ability to push and pull up to 20 pounds.
• Requires good finger dexterity and hand coordination.

Wage
The compensation for this position is $23.00 per hour.
