AbelCine specializes in the sales, education, rental, and service of film, HD, and professional video camera equipment and related accessories. Their equipment line is supported by a technical staff with real-world production experience.
Job Description:
AbelCine is seeking dynamic interns to work in their Rental department. This internship provides aspiring students with the opportunity to apply classroom skills in a real-world workplace and gain insight into production.
Rental interns will:
• Learn the rental process from quote to check-in.
• Get hands-on experience with equipment.
• Work alongside with AC’s on the checkout floor.
• Acquire enough familiarity to be comfortable renting and prepping gear on future jobs and film projects.
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in either a two, or four-year accredited college program.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week to the internship.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.
• Possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Important Note:
• All internships are part-time and are for college credit only (unpaid).
• No stipend will be provided.
• Written verification must be provided from your school that you will receive college credit for this internship.
