Job Description: Remote Email Designer
WeCare Medical Specialty Group is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Remote Email Designer to join their marketing and communications team. This role requires a strong understanding of email design best practices, HTML/CSS coding, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
• Email Design and Development: Design and code visually appealing and responsive email templates using HTML and CSS; create email layouts optimized for various email clients and devices; develop and maintain a library of reusable email templates; incorporate brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all email communications; design and optimize email creative for A/B testing.
• Campaign Management: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to understand campaign objectives and target audiences; implement email segmentation and personalization strategies to improve engagement; manage email campaign scheduling and deployment using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot); monitor email campaign performance and analyze key metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates); generate reports and provide insights on email campaign effectiveness.
• Content Creation and Collaboration: Work with content creators to ensure email content is visually compelling and aligned with design; source and optimize images and other visual assets for email campaigns; ensure email content is accessible and compliant with relevant regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
• Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest email design trends, technologies, and best practices; troubleshoot email rendering issues and optimize email deliverability; maintain knowledge of email marketing platforms and integrations; ensure emails are compliant with accessibility standards.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Email Designer or in a related role with a strong portfolio showcasing email design skills.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email development.
• Experience with responsive email design and testing.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot).
• Strong understanding of email design best practices and deliverability.
• Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be located in the United States or be a U.S. permit resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the healthcare industry or with medical content.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience with A/B testing and data analysis.
• Understanding of email marketing automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing, or a related field.
