Job Description:
Perfetti Van Melle is offering a Reliability Engineering Internship/Co-op with their Rockford Maintenance Team. This is a Fall 2025 internship based in Erlanger, KY, requiring a 40-hour work week with the possibility of extension or rotation.
As a Reliability Engineering Intern/Co-op, you will assist the Maintenance team in developing next-generation preventive maintenance templates, implementing new reliability programs, and maximizing the productivity of assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contact OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for best practices, frequencies, and activities related to maintenance.
• Develop preventive maintenance templates with detailed steps, pictures, references, and measurements for technicians.
• Assist in identifying assets in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Participate in FI (Focused Improvement) projects to optimize maintenance plans.
• Develop training programs for operators and technicians.
• Analyze equipment failure data.
• Conduct root cause analysis.
• Conduct maintenance process audits.
• Establish maintenance procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate reliability throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
• Must be seeking a BS/MS in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in engineering-related courses.
• Ability to work full time.
