Location: Select Specialty Hospital – Charleston (located inside CAMC)

Schedule: 7-7, Night Shift

Sign-on Bonus: $10,000

Your Impact as a New Graduate RN

As a New Graduate Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with physicians and your dedicated preceptor. You will be instrumental in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans for our unique patient population. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assuring the implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care in collaboration with the physician and your preceptor.
  • Initiating and maintaining an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and their families.
  • Interpreting assessment data and information to develop comprehensive nursing care plans, which include problem identification, nursing diagnoses, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long-term goals, and discharge planning.
  • Actively participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
  • Ensuring that all documentation in the medical record is complete, factual, accurate, and timely, adhering to the highest standards of record-keeping.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
  • Valid State RN License required upon start date. (Applicants may apply before being licensed but must have the license by the start date.)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at hire.
  • Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the new graduate program.
