Overview
Join Select Specialty Hospital, a Critical Illness Recovery Hospital located at Riverside Regional Medical Center, as a Registered Nurse (RN) – New Graduate.
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Shift: Night Shift
- Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends
- Pay Rate: $40.85 per hour plus shift differentials for nights & weekends

At Select Medical’s Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, you will care for the most vulnerable patients in your community—chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. Responsibilities
In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients/families.
- Interpreting assessment data to develop a nursing care plan, including problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals, and discharge planning.
- Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
- Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate, and timely.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate an understanding of patient needs, ensuring each patient feels informed, understood, and heard. You should be passionate about providing superior quality care and be an inventive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
- Valid State RN License is required (by start date).
- Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
- Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.
