## Job Description

The Registered Dietitian at Paulding Hospital is a member of the interdisciplinary health care team responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition/dietetics and a minimum of one to two years of clinical experience.

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for:

• Performing nutrition assessments
• Calculating metabolic nutrient requirements
• Developing and implementing nutrition care plans
• Providing nutrition education to patients and their families
• Participating in performance improvement and research activities
• Mentoring dietetic interns

The Registered Dietitian must have excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills. They must also be knowledgeable about best practices in clinical nutrition and the dietetics profession.
