Job Description: Regional Marketing Intern (Disney Consumer Products)
The Role:
As a Regional Marketing Intern at Disney Consumer Products (DCP), you will be a vital part of the regional marketing team, providing creative and administrative support. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning and executing marketing and communication strategies across Southeast Asia, Middle East & North Africa (SAMENA). You will collaborate with other Disney business units to deliver integrated consumer product marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Dedicated Project:
• Coordinate marketing campaigns for Mickey In Real Life, Disney Summer Festival (Stitch), and Marvel 2025 across all SAMENA markets.
• Develop social media engagement strategies, execute organic/paid content plans, and research suitable influencers for seeding outreach.
• Deploy augmented reality experiences to drive social user-generated content across the region.
• Collect and showcase marketing activation event details from SEA markets on Disney websites.
Supporting Roles:
• Ideate marketing activations for upcoming DCP Retail Marketing Campaigns, updating and maintaining campaign calendars.
• Create campaign decks adhering to TWDC design templates and manage asset distribution to stakeholders.
• Analyze campaign results and share best practices with markets.
• Research latest digital trends and brainstorm digital content ideas for DCP Digital Marketing Campaigns.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure project adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Oversee the end-to-end project management of digital content involving both internal and external stakeholders.
General Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, business reviews, and campaign reviews.
• Think creatively and develop new concepts while leveraging existing assets.
• Collaborate with different Disney business units and learn synergies for marketing campaigns.
Internship Requirements:
• Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Not yet graduated during the internship period.
• Available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2025.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field.
• Knowledge or interest in Digital Marketing and/or Visual Merchandising is a plus.
• Active user of social media channels with a keen understanding of trends.
• Passion for Disney brands and characters.
• Highly self-motivated, meticulous, and passionate about retail and marketing.
• Adaptable to a dynamic environment and thrives in a fast-paced working setting.
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for collaboration.
• Proactive and innovative, proposing creative solutions.
• Independent self-starter, able to prioritize workload, manage deadlines, and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Strong strategic thinker with excellent communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to utilize data for decision-making.
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Keynote.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
