Recruiting Intern (Spring 2027) | BMW Group

The Tone:
This is an internship at BMW Group, located in Spartanburg, SC. As a global automotive manufacturer, BMW Group builds premium vehicles and offers comprehensive mobility services worldwide. This role is vital for supporting the recruiting department’s strategic initiatives, enabling the successful acquisition of talent, and contributing to the efficiency of hiring processes. The intern will gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition, project management, and administrative support within a major international company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Recruiting Support: Assist with new and ongoing recruiting department initiatives, including Military Veteran hiring programs, talent programs recruiting, and exempt and non-exempt recruiting efforts.
• Administrative Assistance: Provide comprehensive administrative support for process documentation, data analytics reporting, creating PowerPoint presentations, and managing correspondence and phone calls.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage components of hiring initiatives programs, partnering with stakeholders to ensure successful prioritization, development, delivery, and adoption of program goals.
• Strategic Analysis: Conduct research, conceptualize new ideas, and analyze information to evaluate the talent landscape against business strategies, recommending relevant initiatives for activities and actions.
• Event Management: Plan and coordinate focused, community-based events and initiatives, supporting the organization’s vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Working towards a 4-year degree or a Master’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States, with at least 30 credit hours completed and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours per week) from January 11th to May 14th, 2027, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced-level MS Excel.
• Skills: Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including graphs, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, efficient spreadsheets, calculations, and automation), and strong communication skills.
