Recruiting Intern (Spring 2027) | BMW Group
The Tone:
This is an internship at BMW Group, located in Spartanburg, SC. BMW Group is a global leader in automotive manufacturing, known for its commitment to innovation and quality. This role is crucial for supporting the recruiting department’s ongoing initiatives, contributing to military veteran hiring, talent programs, and overall recruitment efficiency. The intern will gain hands-on experience in project management, administrative support, and data analysis within a dynamic corporate environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Recruiting Programs: Aid in the execution of military veteran hiring, talent programs, and general exempt/non-exempt recruiting initiatives.
• Provide Administrative Support: Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance including event planning, materials design, new hire onboarding, and file management.
• Manage Project Components: Coordinate and manage specific parts of hiring initiatives, ensuring successful prioritization, development, and adoption of program goals.
• Conduct Research and Analysis: Research new ideas, collect and analyze data to evaluate business strategies, and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare Communications and Documentation: Develop PowerPoint presentations, create process documentation, and respond to correspondence and phone calls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university in the United States, working towards a 4-year degree or a Master’s, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application; ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) on-site from January 11th to May 14th, 2027.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced-level MS Excel (including graphs, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, efficient spreadsheets, calculations, and automation); effective communication skills; detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and prioritize.
