The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Morgan & Morgan, P.A., a leading personal injury law firm with over 6,000 employees. The firm serves as a crucial line of defense for millions of Americans against insurance companies, large corporations, and defective goods. As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in coordinating new client engagement and providing essential administrative support, directly contributing to the firm’s mission of fighting “For the People.” Your work ensures that clients receive a professional welcome and that attorneys and staff have the support needed to succeed.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Greeting: Greet clients upon their arrival at the office and ascertain the purpose of their visit to the firm.
• Information Provision: Provide initial information regarding the firm’s services and the availability of lawyers.
• Client Intake: Obtain preliminary information from new clients to determine their case histories and backgrounds.
• Communication Management: Respond to telephone calls by operating PABX systems, diverting and transferring calls, and taking and relaying messages.
• Office Support: Oversee the obtainment and storage of office supplies and equipment, maintain liaison with vendors, and ensure conference and shared spaces are tidy for client meetings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or GED; knowledge of general office practices.
• Experience: Entry-level experience working in an office setting.
• Skills: Skill in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines; demonstrated skill in effective oral and written communication; skill in exercising sound judgment and effective decision-making; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ProDoc.
• Bonus: Preferably experience working in the legal environment.
