This role is crucial for the Real Estate Technology & Growth Investment Team, directly contributing to the identification and execution of asset, portfolio, and corporate acquisitions and dispositions, with a specific focus on emerging real estate asset classes and PropTech opportunities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Model: Create financial models and analysis to project investment cash flow and returns.
• Research: Conduct research to support investment strategies and evaluate transaction opportunities.
• Presentations: Assist in preparing presentations, memos, and analyses for new and existing investments.
• Due Diligence: Participate in due diligence processes for prospective investment opportunities.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with Brookfield’s portfolio and asset management teams to create value in owned assets.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level internship for candidates with an interest in investment banking, private equity, consulting, asset management, or corporate finance. A fundamental understanding of applied investment and valuation analysis, alongside financial modeling principles, is required for success in this role.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is explicitly required. However, candidates must possess fundamental experience utilizing MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint, for analytical and presentation tasks.
• Skills: The role demands strong quantitative and analytical skills, coupled with a high attention to detail and a robust work ethic. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are essential for collaborating effectively as part of a lean deal team. An entrepreneurial spirit is also highly valued, enabling proactive engagement with emerging real estate asset classes and platform opportunities.
