The Tone:
This is a full-time Real Estate Paralegal role for a law firm client of Hire Options, Inc., located in Los Angeles, CA. This pivotal position is responsible for providing comprehensive paralegal support across a range of commercial real estate legal matters. The paralegal will be instrumental in managing complex transactions, ensuring precision and compliance from initial due diligence through the final closing stages. This role directly contributes to the efficient progression and successful completion of significant commercial real estate and lending projects.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $110000–$125000 yearly
• Mission: To provide specialized paralegal support for complex commercial real estate and lending transactions, ensuring meticulous execution of legal processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Oversight: Oversee and manage the intricate documentation and compliance requirements pertaining to title, surveys, and zoning throughout real estate transactions.
• Document Preparation: Prepare, organize, and maintain all necessary legal and organizational documents crucial for various real estate matters.
• Transactional Support: Provide robust paralegal support for all phases of commercial real estate loan and purchase and sale transactions.
• Closing Management: Coordinate and execute all pre-closing, closing, and post-closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Due Diligence Execution: Conduct thorough miscellaneous due diligence tasks vital for the successful progression and completion of real estate projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree; this is a senior-level professional role within a legal environment.
• Experience: Possess at least 5 years of dedicated real estate paralegal experience, with a substantial and proven track record working specifically in commercial real estate and/or commercial real estate lending.
• Skills:
• Possession of a paralegal certificate OR an attorney declaration is required.
• Strong proficiency in reviewing and analyzing title, survey, and zoning documentation.
• Expertise in preparing, organizing, and managing complex legal documents for real estate matters.
• Proven capability in supporting commercial real estate loan, purchase, and sale transactions, including meticulous closing and post-closing procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive miscellaneous due diligence effectively.
