Real Estate Finance Analyst, Americas | AIG
The Tone:
This is an in-person, full-time role at AIG, located within the Americas region. AIG is a global leader in commercial and personal insurance solutions, operating one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks. This role is vital for supporting the transformation of AIG’s real estate operations by providing critical financial analysis and modeling for the company’s global corporate real estate initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Prepare financial models for domestic and international real estate transactions, including lease renewals, office relocations, consolidations, and building purchases or sales.
• Create: Create strategic presentations to highlight various alternatives and drive the decision-making process for real estate projects.
• Develop: Develop Business Cases for senior management to support AIG’s global real estate transactions.
• Provide: Provide budget planning and support, along with ongoing actual versus budget variance analysis, in collaboration with the real estate finance team.
• Coordinate: Coordinate with other members of the GRES team (Transactions, Lease Administration, Project Management, Design and Planning) and external real estate service providers on real estate projects and associated documentation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics; knowledge of corporate real estate, including project management, transaction structuring, and understanding lease documents.
• Experience: 3+ years in a financial analysis role specifically within Corporate Real Estate.
• Skills: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational and quantitative skills.
• Bonus: Team-oriented with an ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
