Job Summary: Ready-Mix Internship Development Program (IDP)

We are thrilled to present current college students with an immersive 10-week Ready-Mix Internship Development Program, commencing each May. This program is meticulously designed to offer hands-on experience and a profound understanding of our Ready-Mix division operations. As an IDP intern, you will gain exposure to a multitude of critical areas, including:
• Cement Manufacturing
• Process Improvements
• Quality and Reliability
• Equipment Maintenance
• Production Process
• Data Management

Job Responsibilities: What You Will Experience

As a Cemex USA intern, your summer will be rich with opportunities for learning, contribution, and growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Safety First: Actively engage in understanding and promoting Cemex’s core safety protocols, playing a vital role in ensuring a safe working environment for everyone.

Qualifications: Who We Are Looking For

We seek students who are enthusiastic about exploring end-to-end Ready-Mix operations and are eager to maximize this learning opportunity. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Educational Foundation: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with at least junior year standing in fields such as:
• Concrete Industry Management (CIM)
• Construction Science Management / Construction Management
• Business Administration / Business Management
• Mechanical Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• *Related fields are also welcome.• • Academic Performance: A GPA of 2.5 or above, with a strong preference for candidates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Leadership Potential: Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Communication Skills: Strong analytical and communication abilities, with the capacity to present ideas clearly and effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Previous experience gained through internships, co-op programs, or university projects is highly valued, particularly from individuals who share our passion for the industry.
• Team Collaboration: Enjoyment of both independent work and teamwork.

Working Conditions

• Work Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site internship requiring a 40-hour work week, typically Monday through Friday.
• Environment: Expect a dynamic mix of office work and fieldwork, which will include exposure to varying environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
