Job Description
This role is for a member of an expert Research & Development (R&D) team at Cadence. The team is responsible for creating technologies and products that enable both static and dynamic transistor-level analysis and characterization of highly advanced custom digital and mixed-signal circuits. These circuits are designed for critical markets such as communication, Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Your Work Will Be Focused On:
Research and Development of Machine Learning Technology: The primary focus involves applying machine learning to achieve significant improvements (order of magnitude) in speed, capacity, and usability for the simulation and characterization of digital and analog circuits.
Infrastructure for Massive Parallelization: Developing the necessary infrastructure to support and manage massive parallelization of characterization runs, indicating a need for scalable and efficient computational systems.
Tools/Infrastructure for Characterization Data Mining: Creating tools and infrastructure specifically for mining and analyzing characterization data, which suggests a focus on extracting insights and patterns from large datasets.

Desired Skills And Experience:
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
Industry Experience with C++ Development: Proven industry experience in developing and maintaining applications based on C++.
Unix or Linux Environment Proficiency: Strong experience working within Unix or Linux operating system environments.
Quality and Software Processes Experience: Familiarity and experience with established quality assurance and software development processes, indicating an understanding of best practices in software engineering.
