• Mission: Maintain organized and accurate financial books crucial for fast-moving emergency jobs, complex insurance claims, and specialized job costing.
• Tech Stack: QuickBooks Online (QBO), Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xactimate, Encircle, Jobber.

What You’ll Actually Do
• QBO Mastery: Learn and navigate the QuickBooks Online ecosystem, including workflows and automated banking feeds.
• Transaction Management: Input and accurately categorize daily operational transactions for field equipment, chemical supplies, and safety gear.
• Job Costing: Learn job-costing workflows by allocating expenses, mileage, and labor hours to specific residential, commercial, or insurance restoration projects.
• Accounts Management: Assist with accounts receivable by preparing customer invoices and tracking payments, and input vendor bills into accounts payable.
• Financial Reconciliation: Help reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure zero variances, and digitally file related financial documents.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Basic understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, including debits, credits, and basic financial statements.
• Experience: No prior extensive QuickBooks experience is required; strong computer literacy and comfort learning cloud-based software platforms are essential.
• Skills: Extreme attention to detail, analytical mindset with strong critical thinking skills to problem-solve workflow discrepancies, and clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Prior experience with restoration software such as Xactimate, Encircle, or Jobber is a plus.
