Quantitative Trading Internship

This internship provides a hands-on experience for highly motivated quantitative problem solvers with a passion for financial markets.

Responsibilities:

Daily trading activities: Assist with analyzing daily trades and recapping significant trends.
Rotations: Rotate between product groups to gain a broad understanding of the market and Belvedere’s trading strategies.
Desk strategy: Engage in daily collaborative strategy adjustments with the team to adapt to market dynamics.
Research: Participate in quantitative research and the application of quantitative strategies while learning concepts behind core market making operations.
Data Analysis: Analyze extensive datasets to extract insights that bolster trading strategies.
Training: Benefit from the industry-leading Belvedere Trading University (BTU) program, complemented by ongoing practical training covering foundational knowledge to advanced proprietary concepts.

Key Qualities of Ideal Candidates:

Communication: Confident and concise communication, especially under pressure.
Analytical: Quantitative thinking, strong data analysis skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Team Player: Demonstrated success in working collaboratively in team-based environments.
Curious: Eager to learn and ask questions, with a desire to get involved.
Core development skills: Training or demonstrated ability to learn programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python.
Financial market knowledge: A plus but not a prerequisite.

Internship details:

Location: Chicago, IL (in-person)
Duration: Summer 2025
Eligibility: Graduation date of December 2025 or later.
