What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):

  • Academic Background: Currently pursuing a PhD (in penultimate or final year) in highly quantitative fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Problem-Solving: Possess strong analytical problem-solving skills with excellent logical reasoning and a genuine passion for transforming data into actionable decisions.
  • Communication: Demonstrate clear communication abilities, essential for thriving in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python for processing and analyzing large datasets is required; experience with C++ (or another low-level language) is a significant plus.
  • Strategic Thinking: Exhibit strategic thinking capabilities, with demonstrated interests in strategic games and/or competitive activities.
  • Personal Attributes: Be self-motivated, quick to learn, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Compensation & Perks:

  • Weekly Salary: PhD quantitative systematic trading interns will receive a competitive $6000 weekly base salary for the duration of the ten-week program.
