About Company and Job Description:
This is a nine-week internship program at BlackRock, a global investment management firm. The Quantitative Master’s Summer Internship Program is designed for specialized master’s students in quantitative fields to experience the day-to-day life of an Associate at BlackRock.
Detailed Description:
• Program Overview: The internship provides real-world responsibilities along with social and networking events, helping interns build their professional network.
• Orientation: The program begins with an orientation covering BlackRock’s mission, culture, principles, and “One BlackRock” approach to serving clients. The orientation also includes sessions with senior business leaders and formal training on investment management fundamentals.
• Team Integration: Interns will join a specific team and work alongside experienced professionals, developing subject-matter expertise through on-the-job learning and classroom sessions.
• Development: BlackRock provides opportunities and tools for interns to learn and grow, fostering their potential.
• Responsibilities: Interns will be given real-world responsibilities within their teams.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Applicants must be enrolled in a quantitative-disciplined master’s program such as analytics, computational finance, financial engineering, or mathematics.
• Students must be graduating between August 2026 and July 2027.
• Relevant pre-master’s work experience is required.
Application Information:
• Candidates can apply for only one program (Quantitative Master’s Internship Program *or• Summer Internship Program).
• Within that program, candidates can apply for up to two functions (e.g., Investment Research and Analytics & Modeling).
• Both applications must be submitted using the same program application.
• Withdrawing an application prohibits submitting another for the same program that year.
• Following application submission, candidates will receive an email with a pre-interview assessment that must be completed within five days. Failure to complete the assessment will result in application withdrawal.

Salary Ranges (Semi-Monthly Rate):
The provided salary ranges depend on the Business Area (Client & Product Functions, Corporate & Strategic Functions, Investment, Operations, Technology) and location. Note that rates are determined by department/team within the business area.
