Job Description:
This Quality Supervisor (QS) position supports the Stratford Final Assembly (CAFO) located in Stratford, CT. The QS is responsible for all aspects of quality supervision of inspection hourly associates for the MH-60R Helicopter (Romeo). The position will report to the CAFO Quality Manager in the RMS Sikorsky line of business.
Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership to hourly personnel supporting the Sikorsky Quality organization.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives that support the Quality Organization’s key performance measurements, vision and strategy.
• Manage collaboration efforts with DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) for contract statement of work compliance to the quality management system, non-conforming material, and corrective actions.
• Manage the grievance escalation process as appropriate.
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with the Local 1150 union.
• Manage the training scheduling of the hourly associates.
• Manage metrics detailing hourly workforce labor hour activities.
• Support the execution and achievement of all applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS, and RMS Sikorsky business objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience developing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers.
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities, and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Sikorsky processes and procedures related to aircraft production (e.g., Non-conforming material management, etc.).

• Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules, including a 4×10 hour day schedule with 3 days off per week.
