Job Description:
This is a Quality Assurance Project Coordinator INTERNSHIP located in Nampa, ID. The intern will support the Corporate Quality team, which manages technical data for various dairy products manufactured for the USA and international markets. The role is a full-time, one-year position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Quality Engineers with managing Food Safety related projects at the Nampa manufacturing site, including:
• Foreign objects management
• Rework program
• MNC program
• Validation of CIP procedures
• Metal Detectors management
• New Environmental plan implementation
• Act as a central point for collecting information from different departments to coordinate activities related to reshaping Food Safety policies in production.
• Prepare progress reports on projects.
• Propose sustainable actions and improvements to the current system.
Requirements:
• Education: Recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Preferred study area: Food Science.
• Previous experience with information databases is a plus.
• Strong communication and Project Coordination skills, with proficiency in Excel, are necessary.
• Skills/Abilities:
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Access, Word).
• Comfortable working with data management software systems.
• Self-starter, able to manage own workload.
• Basic understanding of quality management systems in the food industry.
Salary: \$19 – \$21 Hourly
