Job Description:

Lactalis USA is seeking a Quality Assurance Project Coordinator Intern for their Corporate Quality team in Nampa, ID. This is a full-time, one-year internship. The intern will support a team of QA professionals with projects and daily administrative tasks within the Quality Assurance Department, which is responsible for the technical data for various dairy products manufactured for the USA and other countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help Quality engineers to manage Food Safety related projects in Nampa manufacturing site, including:
• Foreign objects management
• Rework program
• MNC program
• Validation of CIP procedures
• Metal Detectors management
• New Environmental plan implementation
• Act as the collection point of information from multiple departments to coordinate activities necessary to reshape the Food Safety policies that are used in production.
• Prepare progress reports on projects mentioned above.
• Propose sustainable actions and improvements to the current system

Requirements:

• Must be either a recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a Bachelors. Preferred study in Food Science.
• Previous work experience with information databases is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, and Project Coordination skills, with experience in Excel is necessary for this role.
• Very strong computer skills, and be comfortable using Excel, Access and Word at a proficient level.
• Must be very comfortable working with data management software systems
• Self-starter, able to track and manage own workload.
• Have a basic understanding of quality management systems used in the food industry

Salary:

$19 – $21 Hourly
