Job Description

Role Title: Quality Assurance Intern

Team/Department: SOLIDWORKS Data Apps team

Internship Focus: The Quality Assurance Intern will support the Quality Assurance team with their projects and daily tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work on and influence user-facing projects, gain an understanding of the software development process, and advance CAD/PLM skills, particularly in relation to SOLIDWORKS and the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.

Key Responsibilities:
• Creating test plans and test projects specifically related to the migration of data to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
• Migrating customer data to 3DEXPERIENCE Platform sandboxes to identify issues and functionality gaps.
• Creating issues in a bug tracking system and suggesting areas for improvement.
• Documenting findings in a knowledge base.

Qualifications:
• Education: Must be a rising senior actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or a graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechanical or other Engineering for the duration of the internship. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 /4.0 scale is required.
• Work Commitment: Able to dedicate 40 hours per week (full-time) to this internship.
• Technical Skills:
• Experience with 3D modeling (SOLIDWORKS preferred).
• Data management experience is a plus.
• Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office.
• Location & Work Model: Able to work onsite in the Waltham, MA office with a hybrid schedule.

• Highly organized, thorough, and precise.
• Strong command of English.

Internship Specifics:
• Duration: 6 months.
• Type: Full-time paid internship.
• Location: Dassault Systèmes Corp. offices at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, MA 02451.
• Work Model: Hybrid work model (expected to work onsite).
• Compensation: Commensurate with experience, with an expected total compensation range of $22 to $40 per hour.
