QC Analytical Information Technology Summer Internship | CSL
The Tone:
This is a summer internship at CSL, a leading global biotechnology company. CSL is dedicated to developing lifesaving medicines, including treatments for hemophilia and immune deficiencies, influenza vaccines, and therapies for iron deficiency, dialysis, and nephrology. This role is crucial for implementing AI and digital solutions that enhance the efficiency and operations of quality control groups, directly supporting CSL’s mission to save lives and protect global health. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment, contributing to meaningful projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with quality control teams to understand their specific needs and identify opportunities for AI and digital solutions.
• Solution Development: Design and develop useful bots and digital solutions, including back-end integration, to improve efficiency within quality control.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs or issues, ensuring all digital solutions meet relevant quality standards and regulations.
• Content Management & Support: Assist in creating and managing website content, and provide training and ongoing support to quality control teams on digital solutions.
• Project Oversight: Contribute to planning and managing project timelines, ensuring milestones are met, and maintaining detailed documentation throughout the development process.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Currently a rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Information Technology, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience using AI tools.
• Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and technical writing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
